This is a game a friend and I used to play a lot. You take a common phrase, cliche, that sort of thing, and alliterate it in such a way that it still carries the same meaning (or as close as you can get) as it does in its original form.

Try to guess what common phrases each of the following really is:

• Fiduciary fawning forms foundation for fiendishness.
• Tying temporal thread, tightens thrice three.
• Cease critiquing charitable Clydesdale choppers.
• Ignore illegitimates insulting id's imaginations.
• Desist driving diamondoid dowels down discoid depressions.
• Sanction specific screwball streamer swoop.
