- various papers of your choice - text-based, magazines, scrapbooking paper, etc.
- a surface - canvas, scrapbook, poster board

Do:
- Tear your pieces into shapes that might reflect buildings, trees, and other city-resident items.
- Arrange them to your liking then glue them down.
- Create a cityscape or something industrial.
Notes:
- Don't glue anything down permanently until you've completely decided how you want them arranged.
- Try different textures and colours to build your 'scape.
- The scissors should only be used for tidying jobs. All your pieces should be created by tearing and ripping.
