Get you an old, damaged book - or three - that can be used for parts. You can do a number of things here, including:

• using the pages for other arts and crafts projects in general
• blackout poetry of varying kinds
• use the covers as a base for a future junk journal
• leave the book intact and use it whole to create a junk journal or trashbook
• use the book to create folded-page sculpture pieces to be hung - there are videos to show you the many types of folds people have tried
