Poetry in motion

Poetry doesn't have to be rhyming, or about something profound. It can be simple, or have no meaning to anyone but you. If you want to give it a shot but don't know where to start, try a new spin on how to create them.

  • A poem composed of nothing but questions. Does it end in a realisation, or another question?
  • A series of connected short verses that tell a story, describe or explore something.
  • A poem where the structure mimics the subject - a piece about trees in the shape of a tree.
  • A poem where each line starts with "I remember".
