Magnetic poetry - bigger is better

|    home

I think we've mad magnetic poetry before, but this time we're doing it bigger - because that's funner. Use the largest text you can acquire.

You will need:

  • pages with text - old books, magazines, junk mail, etc.
  • scissors
  • adhesive
  • magnetic sheets

Do:

  • Cut oversized text from your chosen source and attach each to the magnetic sheets. They are adhesive-backed, but if they are not, use your adhesive to attach the papers to the magnets.
  • Cut the pieces out of the magnetic sheet and trim the edges.
  • Stick to fridge.
  • Enjoy as usual!

Notes:

  • You can also cut large images out, particular shapes, and blocks of colour to add to the funnerness.
  • You may want to add a layer of acrylic medium to seal the pieces to help protect the papers. You can also use something like Mod Podge.
