Make a list of your favourite things - songs that bring you the most joy or comfort or excitement, your go-to comfort foods and midnight snacks, things that always bring you joy, the things you'd take to a desert island, favourite ways to de-stress, favourite childhood book, your biggest guilty pleasures, favourite take-out, your ideal way to spend a lazy weekend afternoon or surprise day off, favourite comfort films, your happy place, your favourite games and activities, or your favourite outdoor activities.

Pick any day you like, and indulge in all the things you love.

You could:

  • Theme the day: Pick a decade, culture, or interest to favourite around.
  • Challenges: Challenge yourself to try new things that relate to your favourite things. Try a new recipe of your favourite food, a different album by your favourite band, a different book by your favourite author.
  • Sharing/Swapping Favourites: Invite loved ones to share their favourites with you. Enjoy them together, or swap them to enjoy on your own.
  • Favourites Jar: Write down your favourite things on slips of paper and draw one out randomly when the urge takes you.
