Alphabet Memories

|    home

Using the letters of the alphabet as your starting point, assign a memory to each one. You can do this day by day with one letter per day, one letter per week, do a different memory list once per month, or however often and in whatever fashion you choose.

Here's some examples from my own life:

A: My first art show
B: Blueberry picking in Cape Breton as a child
C: Learning to crochet in a craft club

You could also:

  • illustrate each, or just a few after you're done your list, or as part of making it.
  • create a collage inspired by each that could include images from the actual experience.
  • use the idea as a basis for a family memory book to gift to a loved one.
